Haha, I did, as a matter of fact! I was tagged by to take this small survey, and I thought, "Why not? This sounds like fun!" So . . . without further ado, here we go:

1-What's your favorite color?
Mmm . . . probably robin egg blue and chocolate brown. 

2-What's your favorite animal?
Guinea pigs, guinea pigs . . . did I mention guinea pigs? 

3-Favorite ice cream flavor?
I gotta say chocolate, though am I really gonna turn down any ice cream? Probably not. XD

4-If you could go anywhere in the whole world right now, where would that be?
Back to Montréal/Québec, because, you know, two trips there is never enough.

5-What was your favorite movie as a child?
Disney's The Hunchback of Notre Dame, followed by Dreamwork's The Road to El Dorado.

6-If you were in My Little Pony:Friendship is Magic, what type of pony would you be out of the main three? Earth pony, Pegasus, or unicorn?
Why, I (er, rather Lori) is a unicorn because, as my ponysona, she's artsy and therefore needs hands to do what she loves. Gotta have unicorn magic to pick things up and create like she does.  

7-Ever had any animated crushes? Go on, don't be shy. Tell.
Oh, of course! Lemme see, Clopin, Miguel. Never had a crush on him, but I could always relate to Dr. Doppler, I suppose . . . Hmm, honorable mentions of Vlad and Pierre since they've been drawn as animated characters . . . That counts, right? Yeah, sure. XD 

8-Do you play any instruments? If so, what?
Nope, not anymore. I took a stab at the clarinet in middle school, but that didn't stick. Braces. Meh. XD

9-Who or what were you for Halloween last year?
I was a SteamPunker! Probably my most successful costume and most fun Halloween ever. I even thought up a name and backstory for her: Valencia Winters, a would-be lady fallen from grace during the Age of Brass and Steam. . . . Dork? Me? Psssssh. Never. XD

10-You were born in the year of which Chinese zodiac animal?
I'mma a goat/ram! Whoo! 

YAY! Now, I'm supposed to tag ten people and write 10 new questions, but since I'm not really as involved in the dA scene as I used to be, I'm gonna skip this part and just say anyone who sees this and wants to do it, GO FOR IT!

Hello everyone!

The last thing I should be doing right now is write a journal entry. I have several important school projects that are are due in the next couple weeks. I SHOULD be working. But guess what? I'm not.

SO after almost three years of disappearance, I'm back on dA, more often than I had originally anticipated. I'm feeling nostalgic, I suppose. I went through all my accumulated messages and saw all the beautiful comments that so many of you have left me over time and I was flattered and touched. I browsed through the artwork of my fellow deviants, remembering how their work used to look and seeing how much everyone has grown and improved. It was a beautiful little moment and I knew I wanted to feel a kiss of that dA  I know and love.

In conclusion, you'll see me hanging around much more. I won't be as directly involved as I used to be, seeing I am still very busy with school. But this will be my highly anticipated escape. I'll comment and favorite and upload art periodically, but if I don't answer every single comment you make, please understand that I read them all and treasure them.

Hey y'all!

Okay, so here's the deal. I left dA for so long because I wanted to focus on college and growing up, so to speak. But then, I recalled a conversation I had with a previous suite mate:

"Do you have a dA account?"
"I do, but I don't really use it anymore."
" . . . But you're an artist . . ."

And guess what? She's right! I haven't been doing NOTHING in my absence! I've created a TON of art these last two-three years in all of my classes. Not all of it is noteworthy, but I have managed to produce several things I AM rather proud/fond of. And I really want to share it with all with you. I have graphic design projects, illustrations, figure drawings, printmaking projects, even some knitting I want to show you! Plus some current work that needs to be photographed, as it is too big for my scanner. Trouble is, that's a lot of deviations. If only dA could be like Facebook, where you can load all your artwork at once and then edit it later. *sigh* But it would take me forever to post it all in one setting so I have devised a plan. In order to keep myself a regular here on dA, I am going to add one deviation a day. That way, I can make it last and be an active member again. Plus, it will give me a little something to look forward to everyday in my busy schedule. :3

Today happened to be my Amelia/Delbert piece. But starting tomorrow, you will begin a journey with me--sharing my college experience, one day at a time!

Well now . . . *sheepish cough, looks around* I can see that so much as happened in my absence. I've been "off" of deviantArt for years and felt the urge to come back. Can't say I'll be posting or adding new work any time soon, but I will be visiting more often, updating here and there. I've really missed this site and all the beautiful people I've met because of it. Hopefully, none of those people don't feel abandoned, but the lust for this website flickered when I started attending college and was forced to leave NeverLand and grow up . . . *sniff*

SO, have I changed at all? Immensely! I'm in my junior year of college, living with my two best friends. I'm majoring in Visual Communications and graphic design. I'm now 21. Hellz to the yeahs. XD

I'm just as obsessed with Disney as ever (primarily Brave, since I just bought it last night) and still drawing like a crazy person. Fanart has dwindled significantly due to school assignments, but I just spend a good majority of Biology sketching Dr. Doppler and Captain Amelia in my notebook while listening to lecture. lol My knitting passion and skills have improved and that is my main hobby apart from reading. My life is devoted to school, my family, and friends . . . and coffee. Lots of coffee!

I am no longer a high school student, y'all! I am now a legit incoming college Freshman who will be balancing a double major in English (possibly linguistics) and Visual Communications--2-dimensional and graphic arts! Hollah! WOOT WOOT! XD LOL

*ahem* Okay, thank you for listening to that. Anyway, bonjour mes ami(e)s de dA! I know it has been centuries since I have last made an appearance, but I am still here, and I still think fondly of everyone frequently. I have badly missed dA and hopefully, as I complete more work over the summer, you will see more of me.

To all who have added me to their watch, the sincerest of thank yous. To all who have commented and favorited, thank you as well from the bottom of my heart. Please do not be or surprised if I do not get back to you, as my inbox is on the verge of exploding.
